Middle School Presentation

On Friday, February 19, 2011, David Files, IRE’s Process Engineer and Environmental Lead, visited the Hubble Middle School in Warrenville to talk about Ethanol.  The students have been researching alternative energy sources and writing persuasive papers about ethanol.  David educated the students on IRE’s ethanol process and showed them several samples of our products.  David also talked to them about some current ethanol issues such as gas mileage, food versus fuel, water use and land use.  It was a fun and interactive presentation.  The students are creating a display which they will be sharing with IRE as soon as it is completed.
